Life is forcing everyone to slow down and stay home but it can also be used as a time where we can self reflect. On an average day we might usually be saying things like “I don’t have time to do this”, “I need a vacation”, or “I wish I had more time”. Well here you have it, nothing but time and opportunities if you want it. With all the negative things happening, it’s time to recharge. Recharging is taking the time to re-evaluate and shift your mindset to see a different approach. That can mean the littlest thing, like reading that book you’ve been putting off, or a big life change like starting that blog that you’ve always wanted to start.
Ironically, this is all happening in spring which is a time where nature unfolds her beauty and flourishes. As if to lead by example. She shows us how she has time to hibernate but like a flower emerges from the seed.
Sounds a lot like recharging to me!
The positive habits that we learn during this time of “hibernation” are going to be what helps keep our balance when everything is better. Spending time with family, loved ones, and ourselves is our foundation. The love, laughter, and memories are the things that make us bloom. So don’t stop your beautiful seed from growing.
What does recharging look like for you?
